All in the family
Family owned & operated
For our family, wine has always been more than a craft—it began as a heartfelt tradition. The inspiration came from our father, who made wine amateurly, guided only by passion, intuition, and a deep respect for the land. His love for winemaking became the seed of what would later grow into our winery.
As his sons, Giorgos and Kostas, we followed this path with devotion, completing our studies in Oenology and Agronomy. Armed with scientific knowledge and the invaluable experience passed down from our father, we built the winery with the vision of elevating our family’s legacy.
A pivotal part of this journey has been our collaboration with oenologist Stelios Matamis. His expertise and guidance significantly enhanced our efforts, helping us refine every detail from vineyard to bottle.
Today, we continue to produce wines that carry not only our family’s signature but also the character of the region we call home. Each harvest and every vintage is a testament to the values we learned growing up: authenticity, respect, and dedication.
Our tastings take place in a truly meaningful setting—the old house of our grandfather, built in 1930. Carefully restored, it still holds folkloric elements of the era, offering guests a warm, authentic glimpse into our history and the roots of our craft.
We are proud to share our story with you, one glass at a time.

Inspired by the greek myth
A Myth of Eternal Cycles
Just minutes from the Acheron River — the ancient passage between the upper and the underworld — the myth of Persephone comes alive. Hades abducted her, yet Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, demanded her return. From their pact emerged an eternal rhythm: six months of light, six months of shadow. A cycle that shapes the seasons, the earth, the silence, and the rebirth of nature.
Under this same timeless rhythm, our vineyards grow. Embracing the balance of life and stillness, we craft wines that honor the myth and the land that inspired it.
natural irrigation
Our vineyards benefit from the distinctive climate of Thesprotia — a balance of mild winters, cool summer nights, and gentle sea breezes drifting in from the Ionian Sea. Frequent seasonal rainfall naturally enriches the soil, maintaining optimal moisture levels throughout the year and reducing the need for artificial irrigation.
This natural water supply, combined with mineral-rich soils, allows the vines to develop deep root systems and mature slowly and steadily.
The result is fruit with greater concentration, freshness, and aromatic complexity — a true reflection of Thesprotia’s unique microclimate.
Compost
The soils of Thesprotia are naturally rich, diverse, and full of life — a blend of mineral layers shaped by the region’s mountains, rivers, and proximity to the Ionian Sea. To preserve and enhance this unique natural foundation, we incorporate organic compost that strengthens soil structure and enriches it with essential nutrients.
By nurturing the land with materials that come from nature itself, we support a healthy ecosystem below the surface, allowing the vines to develop strong roots and balanced growth. This harmony between soil and organic matter leads to grapes of greater purity, depth, and expression — a true reflection of the terroir of Thesprotia.
Green technologies
Our commitment to sustainability extends from the vineyard to the winery.
By combining traditional know-how with modern, eco-friendly practices, we ensure that every stage of production respects both the environment and the authenticity of our wines.
In the vineyards, we avoid herbicides and synthetic pesticides, allowing the natural ecosystem to thrive and supporting vine health in a balanced, sustainable way.
During vinification, we carefully manage sulfur levels, keeping them low to preserve freshness, purity, and varietal expression, while maintaining full control over the winemaking process.
Sustainable choices, cleaner processes, and respect for nature form the foundation of our green approach to winemaking.
