OUR VARIETIES: A JOURNEY THROUGH OUR ESTATE VINEYARDS

Surrounding the winery in a single continuous embrace, our 60-acre vineyard forms the heart of our estate. Here, each variety is cultivated with precision and respect, producing wines that reflect the rich soils, gentle breezes, and unique microclimate of Thesprotia.

White Varieties: Elegance, Freshness & Aromatic Harmony

Our white varieties thrive in the cool night temperatures and sun-drenched slopes of the region.

Malagousia, one of Greece’s most expressive native grapes, flourishes in our vineyard. It produces wines with aromas of jasmine, ripe peach, and citrus blossom — delicate yet vibrant. The grape’s natural elegance allows us to craft wines with refreshing acidity and a lingering, aromatic finish.

Alongside it, Sauvignon Blanc reveals a different personality. Crisp and luminous, it showcases tropical fruit, green apple, and a subtle herbal touch. Its character is shaped by careful canopy management that protects the grapes while allowing slow, even ripening.

Both varieties benefit from minimal intervention in the cellar. By preserving the purity of the fruit and relying on cool fermentations, we ensure that every bottle reflects freshness, clarity, and the unique fingerprint of our vineyard.

Red Varieties: Depth, Structure & Identity

Our estate is home to three red varieties — Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon — each contributing its own character to our winemaking philosophy.

Merlot brings softness and approachability, with red fruit aromas, round tannins, and a velvety texture. It forms the foundation of our most elegant blends.

Syrah thrives in our sunlit terroir, producing wines of deep color and complexity, marked by notes of black pepper, dark berries, and subtle spice.

Cabernet Sauvignon, structured and confident, offers richness, cassis aromas, and an impressive ability to age gracefully.

By cultivating all varieties around the winery, we ensure minimal transport, reduced environmental impact, and immediate processing at harvest — a key factor for preserving freshness and precision. Each grape is hand-harvested and vinified separately, allowing us to highlight its authentic expression before blending or aging.

Our varieties are not simply grapes — they are voices of the land, shaped by climate, soil, and the hands that nurture them.
